This gentle, daily exfoliating toner is formulated with AHA (alpha-hydroxy acids), BHA (beta hydroxy acids) and other purifying botanical components that contain naturally occurring AHA and BHA- such as Willow Bark Water and Apple Fruit Water. Its formulation reduces the appearance of blackheads, whiteheads, and blemishes while clearing your pores.
AHAs help increase cell turnover rate which improves skin tone and reduces whiteheads, while BHAs work deeper in your skin, eliminating excess sebum from further in your pores and dissolving blackheads and sources of acne. The combination of acids helps exfoliate dead skin cell buildup.
The Clarifying Treatment Toner also uses mineral water (rich in natural AHA and BHA), instead of purified mineral water in order to maximise the toner's skin refining and hydrating properties. Its lightweight and watery formula leave a non-sticky finish that boosts elasticity as well as absorption.

Key Ingredients
- Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Water which contains natural AHAs works to improve skin tone, exfoliate dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of whiteheads, and hydrate the skin.
- Glycolic Acid works on the skin's surface to increase cell turnover, which means that the rate at which your skin produces fresh new cells increases- keeping your skin bright and clear. It also exfoliates rough skin and improves texture. As a humectant, it attracts water and boosts moisture.
- Betaine Salicylate is a gentle BHA that increases cell turnover and brightens skin tone and texture. It also helps treat acne as it is anti-inflammatory and draws out excess oil, clearing clogged pores.

How to Use
1. After cleansing, spray the toner onto a cotton pad and gently wipe it onto the face, avoiding the eye and mouth area.
2. For use during the daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.
Tip: It is suggested to use COSRX's chemical exfoliators with a cotton pad for maximum results. The use of both physical and chemical exfoliation will create a maximum effect on the skin. Gently wipe your face with the cotton pad.
